I am praising God for what He has done in your family of SIX!

I was recently was able to lead a bible study with 10 other young moms on
Ephesians and our adoption in Christ and your sweet family was my introduction and illustration.

There were smiles all around the room as our relationship to God hit home through your family! Your story is a blessing to women you have never met. Our little family is honored to know you and be blessed and challenged by what God has done and is doing. Thanks for taking time to share and update!

ahhhhh, so precious and beautiful!!! It’s so awesome to see God’s story on their lives in just this past year… and so cool to think about what’s to come in the next years! Those photos are precious! I love the story they tell… the blue sucker… the hugs, smiles, kisses,…the change in demeanor, daddy arriving, etc.!! Awe, just wish I could see them grow on a daily basis and see what an amazing mom you are first hand all the time! Love you! Love them!

Casey,
I learned of your story right after Asher’s birth. My sister, Dena, had just started attending Open Door when you had gone into labor. She immediately called us here in California to start praying for your family. She linked us to your blog. I prayed fervently for the Chappell Family. My sister, not knowing you, felt she and her husband could best serve you at Asher’s funeral by working in the nursery. I have followed your blog ever since. I was even able to counsel a young woman in our church, through your blog, who was unmarried and lost her baby at 36 weeks. Amazing healing. Even though we have not been able to support your adoption process financially, please know there are many of us here in California who have praying without ceasing during your adoption process. Praise to Jesus! Your family blesses us all! Your example never ceases to amaze me.

This is beautiful and perfect. I was wringing my hands earlier this week (were this weeks give one same one family) as to why not many were giving, why the same people were giving….I needed God to speak to me and He reminded me that this week for us was less about he money and more about sharing our story. When I looked at it like that I felt blessed that we were able to share our story and somehow the money started to come in too…. Thank you for this sweet reminder as we end our fundraising. It took a lot to get here, but we were able to share A LOT along the way!

I saw this on facebook today via Nancy Ray. The crazy thing is I just prayed for the DRC today! My small group has committed to praying for the whole world (Radical – David Platt). We get a country a day through emails from Operation World. Our family’s power has been out for five days and so I had a few countries to pray for today and the DRC was one of them. I just think that is so neat that I heard about your blog today. May God provide!
